What is nutrition and lifestyle medicine and how can it help you in your 40s?

Let me introduce you to my work

My Mission

Nutrition and lifestyle medicine for vibrant health + happiness in your 40s

In your 40s, things change with your hormones, and the way you did things in your 20s and 30s likely won’t work as well for your body once you move into your 40s.

The hormonal shifts that occur in your 40s is also known as perimenopause, and it brings physiological shifts and changes in your body, resulting in many and varied symptoms and experiences.

Some of these symptoms include

Low energy, brain fog, sleep issues, changes to your cycles and periods, being more sensitive to stress or irritability, anxiety, weight gain, particularly around the middle.

Perimenopuase is your body’s slow and gradual transition towards achieving menopause, which could still be 10 years away, but the hormone changes begin mid-late 30s with symptoms starting to manifest in your 40s.

The good news is that nutrition and lifestyle habits play a KEY role in managing all this so you CAN have a smooth and happy perimenopause experience.

What if...

…you could learn some new ways to do things in your day to day life, that you can absolutely love, that meant you could effortlessly manage your hormones better, your energy, your mood, your weight and sleep really well?

It’s never too late to start nor too early.

My approach to supporting women with their health and wellbeing is refreshing, down-to-earth and realistic.

I am a Registered Nutritional Therapist + WOMEN'S HEALTH EXPERT

MORE ABOUT Francesca

I have over 10 years of experience in Nutritional Therapy. I hold a Diploma in Nutritional Therapy from the Institute for Optimum Nutrition and I am a member of the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT) and of the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).

I am an expert when it comes to hormones and my passion is perimenopause.

I suffered with fatigue, frequent headaches, hormonal imbalances, low mood, and bad sleep for too long, and nutrition and lifestyle medicine literally changed my life! This is the inspiration for me to help others improve their health and get more from their lives!

When I’m not helping clients, learning more about my craft and keeping up with the latest research in the field of functional health, I am walking in nature, lifting weights in the gym, sipping green tea in my favourite coffee shops, and looking for the next best chocolate brownie!

I use nutrition and lifestyle medicine to support women in their 40s to optimise their hormones so they can claim back their health and vitality and have a smooth perimenopause and transition into menopause, when the time comes.

Are you ready to work together?

Here's How We Can Get Started

The way I work is detailed, intimate, personalised and supportive, which means I can only work with a small number of 1-2-1 clients at any one time.

Together we can explore the challenges you are experiencing with your body, health and wellbeing, which may be supported with some functional testing (I will guide you on this). From there I will provide you with a fully personalised road map to get you back to YOU.
